When reusing phones that were previously configured, it is highly recommended that you reset the phone to factory defaults to remove all previous configuration settings.

To reset a Polycom Phone:

  1. Press the "Menu" button on your Polycom device
  2. Select "Settings" and then "Advanced"
  3. Enter the admin password (see note below)
  4. Select "Admin Settings"
  5. Select "Reset to Default"
  6. From this menu one at a time select "Reset Local", "Reset Web", and "Reset Device Settings"
  7. For each reset the device will ask "do you really want to do this" select "yes". The phone may restart after each reset, after the device finishes booting please proceed with the remaining reset types.
