The PivaTel Provisioning Server serves the latest tested firmware version and user settings. Please note:

Step 1: Locate the MAC address of your Polycom Phone

Press "Menu" on your Polycom phone. Then "Status" (2), "Platform" (1), and "Phone" (1)

The "S/N:" field is your MAC address. It should start with "0004" and will be a total of 12 digits. On this screen please note your Model as well.

Please note this information can also be found on the bottom of the phone.

Step 2: Add the MAC address of your phone to the PivaTel inventory

Step 3: Add the Provisioning Server to the Polycom Phone

Press "Menu" on your Polycom phone. Then select "Settings" (3) and then "Advanced" (2). Enter the phone password (the default Polycom password is "456"). Press the "Enter" soft key when done.

Select "Admin Settings" (1), "Network Configuration" (1), "Provisioning Server" and then "DHCP Menu". Change the "Boot Server" type to "Static". Press "Back" and change the "Server Type" to "HTTP" and the "Server Address" to "boot.pivatel.com/cfg". Press "okay" to save.

Select "Back" / "Exit" (or use the left directional key) and the "Save Config" option. The phone will reboot to apply the configuration.

Depending on the age of the phone and the existing firmware loaded, the phone may reboot multiple times. This process can take up to 30 minutes depending on the speed of your Internet connection.
